Google Chrome will block noisy autoplay videos

The thing I hate the most, well there is a lot of things I hate, but the thing I hate the most is browsing the web and then all of the sudden some stupid video starts playing. In the middle of work and you get some weird looks.  So when I read an article on PC World about Google Chrome and how they will lock auto play videos. About dang time, is all have to say.

This is the most unexpected thing you can have to happen is the unexpected video playing. Here is what Google had to say about this

Right now we can’t control the video’s auto-playing as that is set on the web site side of things. But the browsers can control the audio.

Other Browsers

Do any of other browsers have this? Well, the Apple’s Safari 11 browser will allow you to do stop the videos from playing.

Firefox – Haven’t heard of things

Edge or whatever Microsoft named it: Haven’t heard of anything, but probably not.

I thought that this, Auto Playing auto, was a good way to do things but it really isn’t. I stopped doing this a long time ago.  So you won’t find anything like that on my site anymore.  Take a look that this article from PC World.
