I talked about how I was told that I was diabetic here. But I am down to what is called a Pre-Diabetic phase.
What is Pre-Diabetic
According to the cdc.gov website
Prediabetes is a serious health condition where blood sugar levels are higher than normal but not high enough to be diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Approximately 88 million American adults, more than 1 in 3 have prediabetes. Of those with prediabetes, more than 84% don’t know they have it.
Symptoms
You can have prediabetes for years and you will never know it. You won’t have any signs or symptoms.
- Being overweight
- Which I am
- Being 45 years or older
- Which I am
- Having a parent, brother, or sister with type 2 diabetes
- Which I have
- Being physically active less than 3 times a week
- Which I am, I am trying my hardest to be more active
What now
Well, you need to do at least 30 min of brisk walking or something like that. So that is what my goal is. I have been trying to do that but, there is a thing called laziness and I have it. I need to get rid of it.
I need to get rid of my sugar cravings. They are bad. I need to make sure I am below that threshold.
