The time has arrived. Football season is here. There are games being played at all ages. But we are talking about BYU football.

The Game 

Set in Provo, Utah, on a Saturday night with a 6 PM kickoff. Roughly 88 degrees on a lovely September night. Featuring Utah Tech playing the BYU Cougars.

My Thoughts

Should be a good game.BYU will be working on their timing. Utah Tech will be working on improving. This will be a good game. A good showing for BYU.

Game Day Food

Started off with pizza. We got a frozen pizza from Costco. Not the ones they make in the eatery. It was a Motor City pizza and some cheese bread.

This pizza is really good. I want to try the BBQ pizza, but it isn’t offered

1st Half

BYU came out on defense, and they intercepted it on the first throw.

L Glasker had 3 touchdowns, pretty good for a true freshman.

This was all BYU; they had two interceptions and recovered one fumble.

Thoughts so far

BYU came out and executed a great game. They have manhandled Utah Tech so far in the first half. The starters have gotten their reps in. Time to put in the 2nd and 3rd string in.

2nd Half

Well, it started off on a 103-yard kickoff return for BYU. Utah Tech did go down the field and scored a touchdown. Their first of the year.

Utah Tech played pretty well. They have a lot ot work on, but they had a good game.

Thoughts

Good game; BYU looks good on defense, holding Utah Tech to only 184 yards of total offense. The offense looked good. L. Glasker is going to be a very good player. This is good for the offense after losing the good receivers last year.  

Next Week’s Game

The BIG 12 opener for BYU. It is another home game. It is at 3:30 CST on Fox.
