Out with the old and in with the new. We have all heard that saying. Well, we are done with 2021.

This means now to you? You have to think about what it means to you and what you plan on doing with the new year. Are you one who

- Start fresh?
- Look forward to improving your life?
- Look forward to just putting in the work?
Means to me
It used to mean, just starting another year on Earth. Nothing big. I mean growing up you were in school. You went home in December for Christmas and you came back in the new year to finish out the school year. I was one to never make goals. What is the point, I will just disappoint myself. So by bother.
What goals would I make?
- Make a million bucks
- Nope never happened
- Be happy
- Still working on that
- Ask out the cute girl you had a crush on
- Nope, afraid that she would say no.
- Put your self out there
- Nope.. Self esteem issues
So why make the goals.
Over the years
I have learned to not make goals I will never be able to achieve.
- Like that million dollar one.
- Yea, I just made a goal to keep my job and to do my best.
- Lose weight
- Be happy
- Only I can make myself happy. It really isn’t a goal.
- Just trying to make my wife happy.
- That is a work in progress
- Does this ever happen?
Started to find goals I can sort of achieve.
One goal
I made a goal last year, just like I did the year before to start a YouTube channel and I did achieve that goal. I put my self-esteem issue aside and just did it.
Yes, I still have self-esteem issues but I will always about that.
2022
What will your 2022, look like? It is all up to you and what you want. There is a saying from one of my favorite movies.
