Now, this cost me $11.61. Yes, you read that right. How in the heck did that cost so much?

The portion size

They were pretty good size. I mean, it better be a good size for being the papa single, and for $11.61, it better be.

The Taste

The taste was perfect. I didn’t get mustard or anything to add flavor to the meat. I am not a big fan of cheese. Surprisingly, it was good.

Story

I ordered two hamburger patties—yes, two—and I guess the person behind the register didn’t understand.

They asked me what burger I wanted; I said just two hamburger patties with nothing on it. They were like, you mean a Papa Single? Yeah, a Papa Single with nothing on it. I got the following:

The burgers looked good, but this wasn’t what I ordered. It was not worth the hassle of getting what I wanted. These days, you never know if you will hurt someone’s feelings and make them cry.

I just took off all the stuff and ate the burgers.

Thoughts

I like A&W burgers. They tasted good, and I was surprised. I would be pushy when it comes to what you order. Ensure the person taking the order knows you want just the burger.

The price isn’t worth it. But the burger was good.
