The 13-ranked Wildcats of Kansas St. are coming to Provo, Utah. How will the game go?
A couple of questions for you
Will BYU Defense show up?
How will the BYU offense do?
The Game
So, coming from the North Pacific Sea, I couldn’t catch most of the 1st and 2nd quarters. But it appeared that Kansas St. was holding BYU’s offense from scoring. However, BYU only let Kansas ST. Kicked 2 FG. So the score of the game was
Kansas St. 6
BYU 0
BYU Scored with 6:57 left. BYU kicked a FG, making it
Kansas St. 6
BYU 3
Then, with about 1:17 left in the second quarter, Kansas St. fumbled the ball, and BYU J. Kelly picked it up and scored a touchdown, putting BYU up.
Kansas St. 6
BYU 10
Then Kansas St. had the ball, and A. Johnson threw his first career interception to T. Batty. With 0:28 seconds left, BYU scored a touchdown. C. Roberts pulled in the catch.
Kansas St. 6
BYU 17
2nd Half
Kansas St got the ball first, and within the first 58 seconds, A. Johnson threw his second interception of the game and his career. BYU’s H. Taggart. It only took BYU 2 plays to score a TD. Lassiter got a short middle pass for the TD.
Kansas St. 6
BYU 24
BYU kicked it off and held Kansas St. and forced a punt. Which looked like BYU messed up but, P. Kingston picked it up on the 10 and scored a 90 yard TD. Thus putting BYU up even further.
Kansas St. 6
BYU 31
At this point I think Kansas was thinking what the heck. They had control of the game. Kansas St. did go down and kicked a FG. This was after The OB A. Johnson, appeared to step out of bounds on 4th down. But it appeared to be a touchdown. But it was called back due to a holding holding penalty.
So they kicked a FG
Kansas St. 9
BYU 31
After that it was all BYU. They scored one more TD, and that was by S. Moa rushing for 21 yards for the Touchdown.
Kansas St. 6
BYU 39
That is how the will end.

Thoughts
So to answer the questions posted earlier
Will BYU Defense show up?
How will BYU offense do?
Will BYU’s defense show up
Holding Kansas State to only 9 points, yes, I do believe that they did show up. They picked up a fumble and ran it in for a TD, intercepted the ball twice, and put pressure on the quarterback all game.
The struggled with stopping the running game. But, they showed up.
How will BYU’s Offense do
They seemed to struggle in the first half. The defense stepped up, scored a touchdown, and intercepted the ball. Then the offense showed up. Being down two top running backs, BYU needed someone to step up, and Will S. Moa did just that. J. Retzlaff threw some pretty good balls. He is getting better.
Overall, it was a good game. Kansas ST played a good game and over-showed BYU in all the stats except for passing yards. But BYU only had two penalties: one game delay on purpose and one stupid personal foul about pushing a shoulder into the quarterback. Overall, it was like the old BYU. They do have a point to make.
