In this time of life, we are to show things and talk about things we are grateful for. The question is does this include kids? I have two of them and well that is always fun indeed. Believe me, it is fun.
Younger
When the kids were younger they were more fun to be around. I was grateful for them. I could play with them. I could be there to help them and teach them. At least I thought I was teaching them. Sometimes I am not sure I taught them anything. Since they ask me the stupidest things. Am I grateful for that, no, it seems like nothing was real when they were growing up?
My kids
Tegan
He is the older one of the two, but the shorter one as well. He had some ups and downs, he spent time in the hospital, and we were talked to as parents for possible child abuse. He was on TV when he was a child. It was on channel 4 news. One day I was getting ready for the day and he was in the bedroom and I went in there and he had picked up a candle type of thing, it was full of oil and he was trying to drink it. He thought it was a bottle. He went to the hospital and that is when we were talked to by the police due to his feet being burned as we ran away from his grandma and aunt and jumped on a burning hot merry go round, thus burning his feet.
Yea, I know.

Ryker
The baby in more ways than one. For some reason, he is over 6 feet tall. Not sure how that happened. But, he is. Yes, he has his up and downs in life. One day he got into trouble at school and needed to be suspended in 6th grade. So it was an in-school suspension where you were supposed to do homework and not talk to other people. Well, that didn’t last long as they used him to go around the school and give things to teachers. Yea, he was having fun. He was on TV as well and in the newspapers as he played football. He has broken both of his feet.

I am grateful for who they are and how they turned out. They have made choices in their lives and they have learned from them. So yes, I am happy that I have them and I will be enterally grateful for them as they are part of me.
