Where did we go
We did venture off the West Coast of the USA, we went to the East Coast to go out of Florida and go to the Caribbean. Yep, here is the itinerary:

Details
We went with some friends
Some people I have known from elementary school that is a long time to know someone.
We decided to do the first cruise together with our spouses. We wanted somewhere warm. And that was the Caribbean.
We flew into Ft. Lauderdale on the red-eye… Not good for me. I didn’t feel good the whole trip. Another story for a different day. No, it wasn’t that “C” word
Princess Cays
This was an interesting one, they had to Tender us over there and we were somewhere in the middle of the people. Didn’t get to spend that much time on the island due to the horrible tenders and the number of people going to the island.
Once there it was nice, and relaxing had some lunch which was included in the cost of the cruise.
Feb. 19, 2020
We were supposed to be in St. Thomas, but we were having trouble with an engine and so we went to St. Maarten first. We arrived late, but we still made it to the airport. Something I have wanted to do for a long time. That was cool.
The ride back was a fun one. Seeing your life flash before your eyes.
Feb. 20, 2020
Only a few shops were open when we got back due to it being a bit late. Got on the ship and ate some dinner and planned out tomorrow.
Arrived in St. Thomas did the following:
- Got in a Taxi
- Went to the Ferry
- Went to St. John’s
- Got in a taxi
- Got to Trunk Bay
- Paid to get in
- Spent a few hours there
- Got back in the taxi
- Got back on the Ferry
- Got in the Taxi
- Got back to the ship
What a day.
Feb. 23, 2020
Time to leave the ship. Our plane didn’t take off until 6 PM, so we went and saw some Flamingos and crocodiles. That was worth it. Better than sitting at the airport.
My thoughts
It was a good trip, saw something new besides the west coast. I wish I could go back. If you want to see what it was like well.
