2015, Cruise

It would be about 2 years from the 2nd cruise we were about to head out again. Will, we do something different? Will we go out of a different port? Let’s find out.

2015 Cruise

My in-laws decided to take the kids and their spouses on a cruise. Now the questions are:

Will we be going out of LA area?
Will we be on the West Coast?
Well we venture into new territories?
Well we try a new cruise line?

Thus far we have cruised on

Royal Caribbean
Carnival

Both were out of the Los Angles, California area.

There are so many out there. Well, we are going on Princess Cruise lines out of Seattle, Washington, and headed for Alaska. Yep, going somewhere different. Still on the west coast. But hey small steps right.

Alaska

We went to the following places.

Juneau, Alaska
Skagway, Alaska
Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska
- Went cruising down through it
Ketchikan, Alaska
- Nice and raining
Victoria, British Columbia

It was a seven-night cruise and went from Saturday to Saturday.

We headed out on the Crown Princess

Crown Princess

It was started to be built in 2004 and took about a year when it was launched. It is owned by Carnival PLC

The maiden Voyage was on June 14, 2006. It took a little over 2 years to build.

Different

This was a good cruise, I got to see some different spots and the beauty of the Alaska frontier. Oh and the sun up for a good part of the day. I know I would do this again. It was a nice cruise. Can’t believe that it was light outside at 1 AM in the morning. I remember I was eating some fries and I think it was wings at 11:30 at night and thinking it was only 6 PM.

It was a great time for all. Go to Alaska if you can.
