It was time for me to upgrade my MacBook Air. My wife didn’t like to hear that, since I have a perfect one that I have only had for two years, not even that.
Compromise
We agreed on a compromise; she got a new computer, and I got a new computer. That wasn’t a problem. So I picked her up a Macbook Air and got a MacBook Pro. You didn’t have to give me anything else.
MacBook Pro
I picked up a MacBook Pro 13″, a bit more powerful than the Air. Here are some specs
Did it have enough ports on it? Heck no, it was lacking ports of use. Wait, isn’t this supposed to be a better laptop? Well, yes, it was supposed to be, but it lacks the most ports I need. Here is what they have on it.

Can’t you work with this? Well, yes, I can do work. But where is the SD card reader? Not there. Where is the USB A port? Not there. Now you have to get new dongles to make it worthwhile. That was a pain in the butt. Always remember to carry them and ensure you have what you need.
Any good
Besides the lack of beneficial ports, was this any good? Yes, it was a bit more robust, and iMovie is a bit more powerful, yet, it didn’t come with any upgrades for iMovie, like more transactions or audio. But that isn’t possible because all models are the same. So, I need a final cut pro.

It helps with other ports and raises the back of the keyboard to make it a better typing surface.
Main Computer
This is my personal computer; yes, I have a work laptop. But this is the computer I use for making all my movies, my blogs when traveling, and my schedule on the calendar and checking my emails, text messages, and so on.
It is getting a bit slow, but that is pretty normal, as computers slow down over time. Due to the extended use of them. Am I going to upgrade to a new one? I would love to. My son would love for me to upgrade so he can get this one. But I will have to make do with this one for a while. I can’t justify a new one quite yet. But I do have my eye on the 14″ MacBook Pro.
