2024 First Lawn Mow

It appears that another spring has come upon us in our world. What does that mean?

Winter

It has come and gone, hopefully. It wasn’t as bad as last year, but it was still a wet one, and that gave the lawn plenty of water to grow.

Spring Time

That means that it is time to mow the lawn. It is odd how the lawn grows differently. Some areas are long, and some areas are standard.

I didn’t get pictures of the grass, but I did do a video.

April 13, 2024

It was the date I mowed the lawn for the first time. It was getting long, and I kept on hearing the following words.

“Man, the grass is getting long.”

I kept on saying then mow it. But that didn’t happen. I also heard the words.

Did you bag it?

I didn’t bag it; I mulched the lawn. Then, I said I could put the bag on for you if you would like.

That was the end of that.

May 3, 2024

Now that it is May 3, 2024, I have cut the lawn several times. The rain keeps coming, and it is nice that I don’t have to water the lawn.

Thoughts

I love this time of year. The smell of freshly cut grass is pleasant. However, you can’t stay out too long if you are allergic to it. But the scent is lovely.

Now, I have to mow the lawn once a week until October unless it starts to snow in September.
