My trip to Texas is over and that means it is back to the plan. Yea it is hard to eat healthy when out and about on trips.
Texas
When I left for Texas I was doing good on my healthy eating. Then a trip happened and well, my eating went to crap. When I left for my Trip I was 301.4 LBS. I ate three meals a day, mostly eating out. We ate at a lot of Mexican places, hamburger joints, waffles, BBQ, and other places. Not that healthy, a lot of protein on some days. But, not within my healthy eating plan.
Took
It took me about 4 days to get back into me getting back on my healthy eating plan. First, didn’t have any good food in the house. Second, I just didn’t want to get back into this. I didn’t weigh by myself at all while I was gone and when I weighed myself when I got back I was 301.4 LBS. Yep, the same weight I was when I left.
I was shocked as hell to see that the scale didn’t move upwards, I thought it would. But I guess all the walking I did sure helped.
Back
To the plan helped, I needed to start to write down everything I ate in a day. Just to show my trainer what I eat. He is trying to figure out why my healthy eating over the last two months hasn’t dropped more weight. I have been doing that and I don’t eat that much. But I also don’t get that much protein, which you should be getting a lot of if you are trying to lose weight.
Cause it paid off
All that hard work seems to have paid off, I am now down under 300 LBS and I have been for a week now. Yea, it is only 299, but still. That is a good thing. I am on my way to my goal weight.
What is next
There is no way I am finished just because I am under 300, that would be stupid of me. I am going to continue to work hard and eat better. Candy doesn’t even appeal to me anymore. I will have a couple of pieces and I will go it well. Where before I would eat and eat until the whole family-size bag is gone. I will continue to have these health updates every 2 weeks.
Come back and see what is going on with my health.
